How to ask my best friend out?

ok, he be my bestest friend evers an we known each other 4 about 8 years now. he calls me blt -do nt ask-i call him badger :D anyways i the problem is im ugly as crap. i get teased all the time but he dont seem to care. hes real cute and really nice and he likes people for who they are, not for what somebody else thinks. i think i actually love him and he might like me? im just not reallv self confident... i really do kinda hate my life and he knows. ok im writin this from my fone and and meh thumbs hurt nowz... ok thank youz byeee!!!!
