Quitting research lab for other, is it a huge mistake, also i'm afraid to confront my boss about quitting?

Job 2 is by far the better option. Any boss that doesn't respect the fact that you are a student first and researcher second is not the right boss for you. However, it's important that you don't burn any bridges (you will need this first boss for a grad school recommendation).
